Seems to be a great product for the price. I was disappointed that the magnet was not strong enough to secure the drill to an 8 inch diameter steel pipe. I have not tested it in other applications. Overall satisfied with this magdrill.

Drill works as expected, however I found that the magnetic base gets hot when using it to hold the unit on 90 surfaces.
Must use stubby drill bits when using the drill chuck.

The overall quality is decent for the price. There are three issues I've had:: 1. The electromagnetic function is weak in the front next to the chuck, 2. The auto oiler function works but leaks and the resivor is so thin it leaks, 3. The drill will fall straight down under its own weight, and im not sure if there is a way to tighten it. Other than that, it works amazing for the price. Don't think you'll go wrong if you're looking to use this in more hobbies than buisness use.

For the money it pretty good compare to more expensive brands. Cannot hold its self vertically, but if you are wanting to drill some holes horizontally its great. Motor is definitely lower quality but i have drill several holes in 1/4” this metal with easy
