I bought this to deboss leather pieces about the size of a drink coaster. I created an acrylic die using my laser engraver, then used the press to deboss the leather. Perfect results, and it sure beats trying to juggle multiple clamps and get the pressure even across the coaster. It is very heavy duty and does what it is supposed to do. Seems easy enough to adjust the height of the plate as well, once I got the idea of much spring compression I needed.

Really satisfied, works perfectly. Well packaged in small crate. Easy to adjust and align. Proper spacing for embossing and cutting dies makes it very easy to use, almost effortless. Thank You people at Vevor for a great product. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It came quickly. It was as described. It was boxed up very well but there was damage to the box but the press was fine. There is an instruction book but it does not tell you anything about putting it together for adjusting. I had to watch a couple videos of other people with theirs to realize the cutting board was not attached with the four screws and that came with it. It works very well after I got it adjusted. I have no complaints.

14.2x10.2 Press is very solid & ridiculously heavy. Needed a press to repeatedly and consistently apply pressure in a vertical motion without side to side motion. Using with large 6”x5.5” top and bottom embossing plates for cardstock paper, if the press has any sideways movement, the plates would not line up and would become damaged . Needed to build a jig out of mdf for my purposes but the press performs the intended task incredibly well. There are only 3 minor issues that are probably not an issue for most users. First issue is that it weighs a little over 100 pounds. As such, you need a dedicated space to place it as it’s much too heavy to store away and bring out repeatedly. Second issue is that there’s very little vertical travel (approximately 5mm total) when you pull the lever to operate the press. For leather dies, where you have room to get your hand between the plates, to line things up, the vertical travel is likely just fine. I’m not using this for leather and a little more vertical travel would be a huge benefit. Third issue, the cardstock I’m working with requires the larger press in order to fit the paper between the 2 upright threaded posts. The upper press plate is very large at 10.2” wide and lining up the paper precisely is very difficult as a result. It would be nice if Vevor offered an optional plate that was maybe 6” wide. If there were more travel between the plates, that would solve the problem as well. Again, these are likely not issues for most users. This is marketed as an embossing press and sometimes embossing plates are a top and bottom plate, not just a top plate. The press works beautifully but you’ll need to get a little creative building a jig if you’re using this for top and bottom plate embossing. The press is very well built, all parts are solid and it will likely outlast me. For the price, it’s an absolute bargain. Some reviews mention the instructions are quite vague. There were no instructions in the crate when I unpacked it, so I can’t comment on how vague they are! I’m not sure why anyone would really need instructions though, it’s pretty straight forward. Undo the retaining nuts, level the plates, tighten the retaining nuts and use the press. It really couldn’t be more simple.

Super fin lille presse til mindre opgaver. Lever fuldt op til forventningerne, og der er god værdig for pengene. Jeg vil råde til at vælge de større modeller hvis man arbejder med større emner, da selve presse fladen ikke er særlig stor. Den er dog fremragende til fx at punsle logo på mindre emner. Jeg er fuld ud tilfreds!
