very fast delivery, good quality for the price

Having worked as an engineer for almost 40 years, I've used a wide variety of tools throughout my career, ranging from very expensive professional equipment to budget alternatives. In my opinion, this VEVOR torque wrench sits perfectly in that sweet spot between the two. I originally purchased this wrench because I was so impressed with the 1/4" version I'd bought previously. I have to say, I was genuinely surprised by the quality of construction. It feels solid, well made and built to last. The torque settings are clearly marked in both ft-lb and Nm, making adjustments straightforward and easy to read. It also comes supplied in a nice blow-moulded storage case, along with several useful adapters. One particularly handy addition is the extension, which I've already found useful. The wrench is fully reversible, which is another great feature and makes it particularly practical when working in situations where you need to loosen and retorque a fastener. I don't normally bother writing reviews unless a product has genuinely impressed me, but this one deserves a recommendation. VEVOR seems to have found a very attractive middle ground between the really cheap tools and the expensive professional brands. At a very reasonable price, you get a torque wrench that feels considerably more expensive than it actually is. Another feature I particularly like is the adjustment collar at the top. Simply lift it to make your adjustment, rather than having to fiddle around unscrewing the bottom of the handle as you do with some other torque wrenches. It's a small detail, but it makes a real difference when using the tool. With a starting torque setting of just 14 Nm, it's also versatile enough for more than just automotive work. I can see it being equally useful for general DIY, lawnmowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers and other smaller machinery. Overall, an excellent piece of kit, well thought out, nicely presented and superb value for money. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a good-quality torque wrench without spending a fortune.
