I do a lot of work in my garage...grinding, cutting, welding, working under cars with dirt, rust, oil falling in my eyes. As an amateur chemist, I also work with a lot of nasty chemicals, the worst of which I try to use out in my garage. So, needless to say, my garage is a "potential eye hazard" location. Many times I've washed junk out of my eye in the kitchen sink. It's less than ideal. I got this to mount in my garage. It's going to take some doing, and it won't be done until spring, but I intend to tie this into the supply line for my garden hose. It's right in the corner of my garage and so would be a perfect spot for an eye wash station. I will have to stick a bucket under it to drain into, as I don't have any physical drain in my garage. Which is no big deal. But if you have a drain available, you could probably tie into it if you wanted. All the parts look to be made pretty well. And while I really don't want to test it out...ever...when I DO need it, it'll be good to have. I give this 5 stars...if it starts leaking or something, I'll be back to update.

This contained an everything needed to get your eye wash station all setup. I am notorious for getting sawdust and slivers in my eyes. I set this up in my woodshop in the likely but unfortunate next time I get something in my eye. It is made out of stainless steel and everything needed came in the box. I installed this in the basement so I just let the water pour onto the floor as it won’t hurt a thing. I don’t think it would meet osha standards based on my research but for home use or those occasions where osha isn’t even required I think it would be just fine. I hope I never need to use it for an emergency but if I do, I’m confident it will work fine. Not much to go wrong. It’s hooked directly to my cold water piping in my shop. The inlet is standard 1/2” pipe and the drain is 1-1/4” like a standard bath sink would be
