At this point I have done two runs with this still and will say it is a perfect introductory item for this hobby, overall, I am happy with the build quality of the product all of the parts, fittings, and add-ons are built well. though there are still some things to look out for, make sure that you clean the still before and after use thoroughly. And before you do a spirit run, you will want to do two sacrificial runs. overall, the manual helps with assembly but if you have a basic understanding on what you’re getting into you will be able to figure it out. another suggestion the manual has, but I would like to stay here is make sure that you do use a form of paste for the joints, even if you do use Teflon tape. this review is for the 3 gallon still with thumper.

Price point on this product is excellent. The thumper is quite small and needs to be on the top. It can be easily replaced for a boiler the size you need at least a 1.5 thumper. Also, the thumper does not have a drop tube so you could use this as a slobber Only you do not put water inside the hamper. Be careful to watch for pressure bumps when using it as a slobber and there will be a delay from when your temperature reaches your boil point to when it exits your coil. The tubing is quite flimsy. there is an assault at lack of information as there is with all the products on how to use this one best bet is do your research first.
