The anvil arrived quickly and was packaged well. I think this is a great anvil for a casual user that is not a black smith, which I am not. I am a metal worker and I wanted something for straightening things (repair), surface to hammer things together and occasional forging beside the small area on a vise. The 110 lb anvil has good rebound, the horn does not appear to be as hard but still perfectly adequate for my needs. The only 2 cons I can see is the the non standard size of the hardy hole at 1.25". I purchased 1.25 bar stock to make hardy tools. The second thing is the the hardy hole is under sized a bit and will not fit the bar. The good is it is under sized and not over. Using an Air belt sander with 36 grit and marking dye, I was able to make the hole to snuggly fit 1.25" bar. in a couple of hours. Make bar long enough to be able to tap it out from the bottom of the hole. In the process of making hardy hole tools. Very happy with my purchase.

Seems to be a very good product so far. Could be packaged more securely for shipping. Box was torn up pretty bad, but hey, how easily can you damage an anvil. Well satisfied with the anvil's performance.

I have been looking for an Anvil for several years, hoping to find an old one that someone no longer needed, but all I saw were in horrible condition, worn, rounded off, parts broken off and way overpriced for what you were getting. I bought this 110 lb Anvil, as it was the size and shape that I had in mind and the price was more than fair. When it arrived I was very pleased. The surfaces were what I hoped for, flat, sharp and clean edges. I immediately picked up my hammer and began to straighten out a badly bent steel rod from my front end loader level indicator. The large flat surface was exactly what I needed to perform this task and now the unit is ready to install. I highly recommend this anvil for those looking for your first large anvil for your shop.

This a true God steel Anvil, awesome rebound. Worth every dollar for this Anvil. You can not go wrong with this Anvil.

Great anvil for the price, great horn shape and overall dimensions. I'm a full time farrier and this anvil is great for the shop. I had reservations about the cast steel construction, but the rebound is impressive.

Thoroughly enjoyed this anvil. Rebound was quite good, prolly 80%, had a good ring to it. Mounted and glued it onto a stump then chained and lag bolted it down. Now she’s just a dull thud!! For a backyard mechanic/welder/tinkerer, this anvil suits my needs to a T!!!

Nice Anvil. Heavy, but works great.

Delivered within 3 days nicely packed and on a small pallet. Horn of the anvil was pointing a little to the side and the sacrifical step for cutting off material in the front has uneven surface. It bears clear traces of manual finishing and someone pushed a little too hard on one spot with a grinder, but it is no big deal. As an amateur I have been using it for cca a month and so far it has no dents or cracks even after a few fairly strong misstrikes from my side. I am honestly very satisfied.
