bought this cuz ive been borrowing a dewalt miter saw but i should really get one of my own. just needed it to cut flooring and trim. havent got to that project yet.... but i did use it to build some toolboxes for my work truck and building a storage bed. i LIKE it. the shadow guide is an awesome feature. didnt know how id feel about the slides being right beside the blade, but they havent got in the way yet. ive only cut up to 4" posts so far. and on the smaller pieces it seems like the blade wobble is significantly less the the yellow saw i was using? i dunno my cuts are definitely sharper tho. all in all im happy with my purchase. my original intention with this saw was just to get by till i could buy a yellow saw. but now i think i may not need one, as i really really like this one better. one nice perk about the slides being beside the blade is i can slide this all the way against the wall and have more room on my work bench. there is a slide lock thats pretty dang handy too. it only comes with one clamp, sucks but not a huge deal. the bevel locks are kinda awkward to reach, but im short so everythings awkward for me to reach. keep it up vevor im quickly becoming a fan. soon ill be trying out this planer i just bought. ha!

Mounted on stand all the cuts were right no set up to do. did have trouble changing blade, guard was in the way to remove screw, work now know

Great saw for the money. Very good cutting capacity is very well-made. Fairly lightweight for the size of the saw and makes excellent cuts. I would recommend this saw as a great value with performance equal to my Dewalt. Also love the shadow line for making more accurate cuts quickly.

Je suis enchanté de cet achat. Le scie glisse facilement sur ses rouleaux guides et elle est compacte. Les réglages sont précis. J'aime particulièrement le fait que les rouleaux guides soient placés devant et non derrière; gain d'espace et facilité de transport.

Works as intended, and is accurate right out of the box. The blade changing instructions leave much to be desired--to be honest, they should be rewriiten with clearer illustrations. But the machine itself is well made, robust, and performs like a $400 saw. If you need one, this is a good buy.

I bought this saw as an upgrade to my Metabo 10” sliding miter saw. despite multiple attempts and calls to tech service, I could never get it to make a perfectly square cut. It was impossible to adjust it properly. This saw has been dead on square since I removed it from the box. It is easier to adjust angles and lock in place and I love the larger blade. It fits imtge same space on my dedicated bench as the Metabo with only minor changes, is no louder, and uses minimal space behind the fence compared to standard sliding miter saws. The only thing I really miss is the laser guide, but I am quickly getting used to the shadow guide on this Vevor model.
