Use it with my skid steer and loader. Put my extension ladder in it and lifted it with my loader to reach eves of my barn and house.

Billy2willys Needs minor modification for increased safety
Just as others have described, the entrance door latch will RELEASE TOO EASILY. With very little movement on the cage, the door latch will release. One person said put a bolt and nut through for a fix. Myself, I bought a 10.6mm (7/16") x 4 inch carabiner clip for a quick disconnection and to keep the gate locked.
BTW, in some places the square neck of the carriage bolt passes through the 2 sheet metal pieces. I made flat washers with square bolt hole for compensating the longer neck
I also noted that the 36.6 inches dimensions were not listed on the shipping box or the booklet manual. Only mention 36 inches. Not an issue for concern
All things considered this is a good device our for farm to lift a person into a fruit tree or clean gutters

Dan Dan the fix it man Very Good for the price
The harness it came with is a joke, It might work for a medium dog leash though. The cage itself was very good for the price.

Rocky Loop Easy assembly
I have assembled and used it and it works great. Assembly was easy, I added foam tube around the top rail so as to not get burned when the sun is hot.
