I bought this because I'm getting older and a ladder is unstable. This platform allows me to feel secure when putting up lights,painting, or doing tree trimming. The product arrived in 3 days and was well packed. It did have minor damage but Vevor was quick to address all my concerns. I am very pleased with Vevor and will make more purchases in the future. 5 star rating.

This lift basket/cage will be alright to work from. It could use a few more areas beefed up and other places could use more welds but for the price it is about what I expected. Materials are a bit flimsy but again for the price it is expected. Overall it will do the job it is designed to do.

The Vevor Forklift Safety Cage Man Basket is cheaply priced and I think the main reason for that is that is very cheaply made. The bottom of the man basket (the floor) is very flimsy for supposedly holding the load that they claim it is rated for. It is 16 or 18 gauge steel with zero cross members or supports across the bottom. As a result, I had to weld some steel tube across the bottom to make up for the lack of support. The side rails are not bad but the welds look pretty poor and several of the hinge pins had fallen out when the unit arrived. It had multiple paint chipped sections, presumably from the shipping process on various rails and the bottom. The wheel sets on the bottom, that also form the forklift pockets are extremely flimsy. They are made of bent 16 or 18 gauge steel with no additional stiffeners, so when I hopped in the basket with it on the ground sitting on the wheels, it bent all 4 of the fork pockets inward and they deformed (I'm only about 220lbs, so it should not have deformed just by hopping on it). Also the carriage bolts that they give you for installation of the fork pockets and wheel supports have the square portion of the head that is too long, such that you cannot tighten down the nuts all the way to full engagement, partly because the basket floor and the fork packets are made of such thin material that the carriage bolt square shank penetrates all the way through and then some, so the bolts cannot be tightened down all the way without adding a washer to each one. The floor being so flimsy is somewhat wonky and this makes the frames/rails on either side twist up and down some, making it hard to engage the latches without pushing up or down on the frames to make them align. The only reason I have this as a 2 stars vs 1 star is because the price is very cheap and the shipping was fast and it will just barely function for the purpose it is made for, but beware of the flimsyness, especially if you are a bigger guy or are thinking of putting 2 people in this. Overall, it's just cheaply made, and you will definitely be getting what you pay for.

Nicely made paltform. The tubing is very thin so you have to use caution during assembly. If you tighten the bolts too much they smash the tubing very easily. You need to use hand tools and not any kind of impact to assemble it. It has some nice touches such as the gravity latches on the entrance gates. Also has multiple anchor point for tie-off with harnesses. Very nice for the price.

Light weight construction and is ok for painting jobs. Not suitable for more demanding situations. The gate is actually on backwards it seems to me. It binds as well when opening. Pretty flimsy materials.

Unfortunately this product is not up to the usual Vevor standard I've become to expect. The door can burst open easily and is very dangerous. It's an accident waiting to happen. A DEATH is quite possible. The door catch will easily burst open if any outward pressure is placed on the side wall, on the the door hinge side. Without the door catch secured the side walls are quite flimsy. The door locking mechanism needs modification to make it safe. All current stock should be withdrawn from sale and existing customers should be sent the modified parts. Further to above, the whole product looks like it was designed by the work experience kid, then manufactured without doing a test build and evaluation. eg. Further to above mentioned safety, 1. The bolts supplied to attach the wheel brackets to the floor don't have enough thread and are impossible to tighten correctly. I had to buy additional washers to use as packers. 2. With the door attached to the side panel it won't fold flat for packup without taking the door off. It would only take a slight alteration to the hinge location during manufacture to solve this and make it a better product. I've come up with my own solutions for the door catch and the incorrect bolts. I'll just live with the side not folding nicely. Otherwise it's a good product for the money.

Premièrement, la largeur pour les pattes de lift n'est pas indiquée sur les caractéristiques de l'item. Donc, en voyant que nos fourches de 8" ne pouvaient pas entrer dedans. Ce qui fait que l'utiliser ne serait pas sécuritaire. J'ai tenté à plusieurs reprises de me faire rembourser et de vous la retourner. On nous a offert un remboursement partiel de la moitié et de garder l'item. Comme expliqué, on ne pourra jamais l'utiliser. Donc elle est inutile pour nous. Donc très insatisfait du service après vente. Les lois au Canada vous oblige à reprendre l'item et à rembourser la totalité. C'est ce qu'on s'attends de vous cette semaine. Merci

I received an open box on 24 June. The contents contained, the platform, 3 side, 3 wheels (1 was a locking wheel, 2 bent fork lift bracket, 2 smaller brackets, 1 of the side rail s was scratched up. No hardware, no installation instructions. The box looked like it went threw hell and had a label that it may of gone to someone else and returned. The box also had a hole in the side. Anyways I wrote VEVOR thinking they would send me the missing items. Oh also sent pictures. Vevors response was "Please circle the missing items on the manual and send that back to us. WHAT MANUEL. There is no way to talk to someone and they haven't responded to my request to make this right. I can't evensend it back. The shipper will not except the box it was sent in cause of the damage.

I have written too you twice asking a question about how lose the connection bars are through the Rectangular hole, my neighbor almost fell out cause the door rattles and came lose. Do unokan and making something that secures the door from opening while in use? If not I would like to return it cause it is very dangerous too use Tim Cooper
