It's made of a fairly thin material, and therefore could be open with a good size flathead screwdriver.
This box ABSOLUTELY does not comply with Canadian requirement for storage of handguns.
If you're thinking of using it for a handgun in your bedroom, please keep in mind it is not enough to satisfy the language in restricted weapon storage
I just use it for ammo and some valuables.

DO NOT EVER BUY THIS SAFE OR ANYTHING FROM VEVOR!!! I purchased this safe and it worked fine for a couple of months. Then the safe started not to operate with either the keypad or the fingerprint bio scan. NOT SOMETHING YOU WANT FOR A GUN SAFE!!! To top it off, I bought their little BOGUS warranty. Filed a claim.
They asked for a video of the failure, which I thought was very odd, but okay...video sent. They respond and offer three options...
1. Have their techs send repair instructions...NOT.
2. Receive a replacement and return the defective unit
3. Keep the defective unit and get a 50% refund
I chose option 2.
Then I receive an email instructing me to RETURN THE DEFECTIVE SAFE FIRST. That wasn't even the best part. I am then supposed to track the package, and once it is shown as received in THEIR warehouse, they want ME to tell THEM it's there so they can send me another one!!!
I have never been so offended in life. They can keep their warranty and their new unit. I will trash this safe where it belongs in the GARBAGE and NEVER do business with Vevor again!
Oh...they don't say where I should store the GUN I have in the safe pending them receiving back the one I have and shipping me another one. I guess I'm supposed to just chunk it into the nightstand drawer.
This is one sad company.

Dommage l’écran principal est défectueux il ne s’allume pas . Sinon le coffre s’ouvre et se referme bien . J’ai fait une demande de retour en espérant que ça soit rapide .
