I purchased this item on August 23rd, 2026 and received it August 25th, 2026. When I opened the package you could smell the mold before I saw it. The entire product is stained and moldy. It looks like it may have been packaged damp/wet. I am trying to get a refund from Vevor and instructions as to what to do with this damaged product.

Shipping was fast but when we opened box to assemble chair a strong odour of mildew emanated - the wooden pieces were damp and covered with mold. We quickly removed it to the outdoors and wrapped it up again to send it back. The product ships from overseas, possibly China, and it was clear that no product inspection was made prior to shipping. We were very disappointed. When Vevor responded to our complaint, they offered a partial refund of $60.00 (half of what we paid) or a replacement item. I read more reviews from others and learned we were not the first to receive a moldy shower chair. I pressed for a full refund and Vevor complied.

I'm shocked you asked me for a review since I had to return my first order because of the discolored/unevenly stained bench legs. The replacement order was also defective. I wanted to return it, but instead you offered me a full refund. I appreciate that. In order to be of use to me, I needed to totally sand and restain the stool. I don't think I can ever use it in the shower. Very poor quality and quality control.

This was great for the shower after I had foot surgery and couldn’t put weight on my foot. However, the color on the bench started to fade and leave big washed out areas after only a few uses.

The wood is nice....A good quality bench.; however, the legs have to be constantly tightened. It wobbles if you don't do that. For that reason, i dont give it 5 stars.

Not only very cheap looking but also came with defects. Some of the pieces were already cracked. I would not buy again even for this price which was too good to be true.

Le banc est arrivé avec de la moisissure et décoloré. On me répond que je n'ai qu'à le nettoyé et quand j'insiste que du teck ne devrait pas moisir à l'humidité, on m'offre un remboursement de 20$. Je doute sérieusement que ce soit vraiment en teck.
