I've been pruning the trees in my property for the past 13 yrs. My previous pole saw from Harbor Freight broke after that time. This replacement is far superior. The length is insane. I only use about have the sections. The saws are very sharp and keep their bite. I read other comments about the fiberglass poles leaving splinters, mine is very smooth and nice. The instructions were vague but after a few minutes I figured out how the last section has to go on.

Bought the 27’ pole saw for a specific leaning oak tree in my backyard. Could not cut the entire tree down without hitting the house. With the pole saw I was able to hinge the tree high enough to prevent it from hitting my home. Worked perfectly. The quality of the pole is excellent, the saws were very sharp with multiple setups available. Very happy with the purchase and have suggested to my friends. Good piece of equipment with the exception of the sawblade being too flimsy and flexible. A more rigid blade would greatly enhance the performance of the saw.

Works great but is a workout when all the poles are used, FYI. But cuts branches with the saw easily and small branches with the chopper easily too. FYI, if the screws to attach the chopper are missing, they won't tell you what size they are but you have to send the whole thing back, which I refused, so I bought some 10-24 x 2" and 1.5" screws, with washers and wingnuts in the same thread pitch. Also a little loctite on the one that attaches the short fiberglass pole extension to the chopper part. Since the blade needs to be replaced at some point or removed for storage I'd say no loctite on that screw.

Nice unit, but tough, and I mean really tough, when using the small limb trimmer to cut limbs with the pole extended...I thought the rope or pole would break, and gave up trying....Used the saw blade and the stub left was not what I wanted...Bark peeled back damaging the remaining limb, making it susceptible to disease...The pole tends to bend when pulling the cutting rope too...Not for the weaker folks.

I bought this to trim dead branches from tall palm trees in our yard. It worked fine and given what tree trimmers charge these days, it has already paid for itself.

Overall, this pole saw is great. I used it to prune two trees in my yard (an 20’ and an 15’) and it did a great job! It comes with the pain points you might expect for a manual saw (definitely takes more physical effort vs a powered saw, the pull string on the sheers was a bit awkward to use, the poles had a tendency to want to unthread from each other if your spun the wrong way) but the blades were razor sharp and cut through all the branches with ease. Once I got the hang of the saw it did a fantastic job, particularly considering the price point. The pull sheers were especially useful, if a bit awkward to use, but again once I got through a learning curve I used them extensively to trim my tree. With some time, some effort, and some upper body strength this saw did a great job. A great tool at an unbeatable price!
